Bodega Bay

I am finally beginning to recover from my girls weekend at the beach. And by girls weekend, I mean me, Amy and three girls under the age of 3. It was a quick trip which included some fun on the sand, some good seafood and fortunately for me and my frazzled nerves, a cold beer.

Here are some of my favorite photos from the weekend. I’ll start with some of Avery and Amy playing on the shore and in the water:

Chloe was scared of the water, so we didn’t really go near it. Instead, she watched from the safety of the sand. I was too busy trying to take some photos to get near the water myself.

Ella isn’t walking on her own yet, so she mostly stayed on the beach towel and played in the sand. Although she did recruit Amy to walk her around a bit (and Avery helped).

We had some fun at the beach house, too. It wasn’t quite as picturesque as the beach, but I took some of my absolute favorite photos from there:

Overall, it was a great weekend away. However, the next time we decide to escape for a day or two, I will make sure that the toddlers don’t out number the adults!
