The Life of Cats

If there is such a thing as reincarnation, I hope to come back as one of my cats. My 5 cats lay around all day and sleep. They get up on occasion to go eat, or to run around if the mood suits.

I don’t know when I have ever slept this soundly.

Then there is his little girlfriend, Bugsy:

She likes to bask in any patch of warm sun that she can find. Except yesterday, when she snuck outside and hid under the deck all day. She will probably spend the next 3 days sleeping that one off.

And then there is Big Fat Otis:

Here you have 24 pounds of pure love. He likes to lay on his back with all 4 feet in the air. Sometimes I am worried that he will be crushed by his own body weight… You may wonder how a cat grew to be 24 pounds. I wonder myself. And I am a professional.

There are 2 more cats in our house. I would have photographed them, but I was overcome by the urge to nap.
